Description

OVERVIEW

Flowlight Wearable Foot + Motor Kit is the complete wearable light therapy system for the foot. It combines Flowlight Wearable Foot 60 Two Waves with Flowlight Wearable Motor, the control unit and power source the wrap needs to run a session. Everything required to start is included, with no separate purchase and no cables running to a wall socket.

The wrap holds the light source close to the skin across the plantar surface, heel, arch and ankle, areas that are curved and hard to cover with a flat panel. The controller clips on magnetically and stays in place, so mode, intensity and session time stay under control throughout.

TECHNOLOGY

Sixty triple LED chips deliver 180 total emitters across the foot, combining 660 nm red light with 850 nm near infrared light. The 660 nm wavelength works in surface tissue across the sole, while 850 nm reaches deeper into the heel, Achilles region and surrounding foot structures. Irradiance is approximately 120 mW/cm² at direct contact.

The controller sets light mode, intensity from 10 to 100 percent, pulse frequency from 1 to 1000 Hz and a session timer from 1 to 30 minutes. A 6000 mAh battery powers repeated sessions and recharges over USB-C in about 2.5 hours.

BODY EFFECT

Repeated load from standing, walking and training can reduce microcirculation and leave the foot stiff or heavy between active periods. Light absorbed in the tissue supports cellular activity and the local circulatory response, which helps move oxygen and nutrients into loaded areas.

Used consistently, sessions support tissue comfort and daily load tolerance, particularly in the heel, arch, Achilles area and ankle where recovery is limited by constant pressure and movement.

DESIGN

The neoprene wrap follows the shape of the foot and secures the LEDs in stable contact across the treatment area. Adjustable straps hold even placement over sole, heel and ankle throughout the session. The controller measures 85 x 60 x 40 mm and weighs 200 g, with an LCD screen and five buttons for direct adjustment.

The result is a self-contained system, worn seated or lying down, that needs no clinic visit and no appointment.

LIGHT POSITIONED TO MATCH THE FOOT'S STRUCTURE

The foot is difficult to treat evenly with a flat light source. Its surface changes angle across the arch, heel, ankle, and forefoot. That creates shifting distance between the LEDs and the tissue. When the distance changes, light reaches the skin and deeper structures less evenly. Exposure also becomes less repeatable if the unit moves during use or if it must be repositioned by hand.

Flowlight Wearable Foot + Motor Kit was built to reduce that positioning variable through construction rather than manual adjustment. The wearable foot unit follows the shape of the treatment area and keeps the light source close around the foot and ankle. This helps maintain even exposure across curved tissue, where rigid panels often leave open space. The separate Motor Kit places drive and control outside the wearable part, so operation stays stable while the foot unit remains compact and focused on placement.

The result is controlled photobiomodulation around one of the body's most mechanically loaded regions. Red and near infrared light can be delivered with better consistency to tissue involved in daily load, walking, training, and prolonged standing. Close and repeatable positioning supports microcirculation, cellular energy activity, and tissue recovery. Over time, this may help reduce stiffness, support soft tissue condition, and maintain natural movement in the foot and ankle.

The anchor is the combination of a foot specific wearable geometry and a separate motor driven control setup. One part is built to position the light correctly. The other is built to run the session reliably. Together they create a precise system for regular foot treatment with less variation between sessions.

LOCAL LIGHT HELPS FOOT TISSUE STAY METABOLICALLY RESPONSIVE

When the foot is exposed to repeated load, prolonged standing, or reduced movement, local circulation can become less responsive and cellular repair slows. Small joints, fascia, tendons, and intrinsic foot muscles work under constant demand, yet blood flow in the area is easily limited by pressure, swelling, or inactivity. Oxygen delivery becomes less efficient, metabolic byproducts remain longer in the tissue, and stiffness can persist around the arch, heel, ankle, and forefoot.

Flowlight Wearable Foot + Motor Kit interrupts that low activity state with red and near infrared light delivered close to the treatment area. These wavelengths are absorbed in superficial and deeper tissue, where they influence mitochondrial enzymes linked to cellular respiration. As this pathway becomes more active, ATP production increases and cells gain more usable energy for repair and maintenance. At the same time, vascular responsiveness improves, which supports microcirculation, oxygen exchange, and fluid movement through stressed tissue.

The biological result is a foot environment that is better prepared to recover after load. Tissue can regulate inflammation more efficiently, muscles can relax with less protective tension, and connective structures can remain more elastic. This may help reduce local stiffness, support mobility in the foot and ankle, and improve readiness for walking, standing, and training.

The response depends on stable exposure. The wearable foot unit keeps the light close across the shape of the foot, which reduces gaps between device and tissue. The Motor Kit anchors the treatment with controlled, repeatable operation, helping each session remain consistent over time.

CONSISTENT FOOT LIGHT THERAPY SUPPORTS A STEADIER LOAD TOLERANCE

When foot recovery is inconsistent, small areas of strain can stay active from one day to the next. Tissue in the sole, ankle, and surrounding structures does not always return to a balanced resting state. Circulation may remain reduced in overloaded areas, stiffness can persist, and walking or standing continues to add load before repair is complete. Over time, this can make the feet feel less adaptable to training, work, and long periods spent upright.

Repeated use of red and near infrared light helps reverse that pattern through cumulative support for tissue metabolism and local blood flow. Photobiomodulation supports mitochondrial energy production, which helps cells manage repair more efficiently. Regular sessions also support microcirculation, oxygen delivery, and nutrient exchange in tissue exposed to high daily pressure. As this process is repeated, muscles and soft tissue in the foot and ankle can recover with less residual tension between periods of load.

The longer term result is a steadier functional baseline. Stiffness may return less quickly after activity. Tissue can remain more responsive, and mobility in the foot and ankle becomes easier to maintain. This matters because better recovery in the feet supports the whole movement chain above them, from gait quality to everyday comfort.

Flowlight Wearable Foot + Motor Kit is built to make that consistency practical. The wearable foot unit keeps light close to the treatment area across the contours of the foot, while the Motor Kit supports controlled and repeatable sessions. The setup is simple to use, which lowers friction in the routine. That repeatability helps recovery become sustained rather than occasional.
