Description

INTRO

Flowpression Boots Ultra combine sequential air compression with integrated red and near-infrared light in a fully cordless design. Each boot runs on its own removable battery and control unit, so a complete recovery session works at home, in the locker room or while traveling.

TECHNOLOGY

Five independent chambers per boot inflate in sequence from foot to hip, with pressure set across 15 levels between 80 and 220 mmHg. Each sleeve also holds 108 LED chips, 18 at 660 nm red light and 90 at 850 nm near-infrared, which can be switched on in any compression mode. The two boots are paired at the factory and connect automatically at start-up.

BODY EFFECT

Sequential compression follows the natural direction of venous and lymphatic return. The rhythmic pressure helps move fluid out of the legs, eases the feeling of heaviness and supports recovery after training or long days on your feet. Red and near-infrared light work alongside the compression and are used to support local circulation and tissue recovery.

CUSTOMIZATION

Four modes cover different moments in the training week. Flow builds pressure from foot to hip for classic post-training recovery. Pulse works in wide two-chamber waves for a lighter warm-up. Progressive spends more time on the feet and calves before reaching the thigh. Zone holds one chamber at a time for focused work. Session length is set between 15 and 60 minutes, and chambers can be switched off from the thigh down to concentrate on the lower leg.

DESIGN

No hub, no cables and no external controller. A 2600 mAh battery clicks into each control unit, charges over USB-C in about three hours and gives up to 150 minutes of compression, or about 80 minutes with the light active. An emergency release slider empties all pressure instantly. Supplied with two batteries, two USB-C cables, a carry bag and a user manual. Warranty is two years.

SEQUENTIAL COMPRESSION FOR LARGER LEGS

Reduced movement and high load slow venous return in the legs. Fluid accumulates in the lower limb and increases pressure in the tissue. Larger calves and thighs often prevent a tight seal in standard boots. Gaps reduce contact and break the compression gradient. Flowpression Boots Ultra Large were built to remove this limitation.

The boots connect to the Flowpression control unit and use sequential pneumatic inflation. Air chambers fill from the foot to the thigh in a controlled rhythm. Each cycle replicates the natural muscle pump that moves blood and lymph toward the heart. The enlarged circumference maintains full contact around wider legs. This ensures even pressure along the full length of the limb.

The controlled gradient increases venous return and supports lymphatic drainage. Stagnant fluid leaves the tissue more efficiently. Oxygenated blood enters the muscle more easily. Metabolic byproducts are cleared faster after activity. Swelling reduces and tension eases without the need for active movement.

The fit is the anchor of the system. The Ultra Large geometry keeps each chamber aligned over the foot, calf, knee and thigh. Pressure is delivered consistently without pinch points or dead zones. Intensity can be adjusted to suit daily recovery or post training needs. Regular sessions help restore mobility and prepare the legs for the next load.

SEQUENTIAL COMPRESSION RESTARTS VENOUS AND LYMPH FLOW

When the calf muscle pump tires or remains inactive, venous return slows. Hydrostatic pressure rises in the lower leg. Fluid shifts from capillaries into the interstitial space and accumulates. Lymphatic uptake falls, so proteins and waste remain in the tissue. Oxygen delivery drops. The result is heaviness, swelling, and slower recovery.

Flowpression Boots Ultra Large apply a distal to proximal compression sequence to restore this movement. Multiple air chambers inflate in order from the foot to the thigh. Each inflation creates a controlled pressure gradient that displaces venous blood toward the heart. The same gradient opens initial lymphatics and supports lymph transport along superficial pathways. Rhythmic cycles reproduce the timing of natural muscle contractions. Shear at the vessel wall stimulates endothelial function.

Venous velocity increases and limb volume decreases within the session. Metabolic byproducts exit the tissue more efficiently. Freshly oxygenated blood returns sooner, supporting ATP replenishment. Muscles relax as tissue fluid load falls, and joint motion becomes easier.

The Ultra Large geometry maintains full contact across wider calves and thighs. Chambers seat evenly to deliver pressure without gaps. This secure fit prevents localized restriction. Adjustable intensity and cycle control through the Flowpression system provide a repeatable dose. The body receives a consistent mechanical signal for stable recovery progress.

FASCIA AND MOBILITY

When fascia in the lower limbs loses hydration and glide, movement becomes restricted. Heavy training, long standing and prolonged sitting slow venous return. Fluid accumulates in the tissue and the layers between muscle and fascia stiffen. The result is heaviness, swelling and reduced range of motion. Larger legs are especially vulnerable when equipment does not fit well. Uneven pressure leaves areas untreated and increases local restriction.

Flowpression Boots Ultra Large use sequential pneumatic compression to restore fluid movement and fascial function. Air chambers inflate from the feet toward the thighs in a controlled rhythm. This gradient pushes venous and lymph fluid toward the core and limits fluid stagnation in the calves and thighs. As outflow improves, fresh blood returns more easily. Oxygen and nutrients reach the connective tissue. The extracellular matrix regains water content and temperature may rise slightly with increased flow. Tissue layers glide more freely and passive muscle tone decreases.

With regular sessions, the legs hold less residual fluid after activity and at the end of the day. Fascia recovers elasticity and joints load through a fuller range. Walking, cycling and squatting require less protective tension, so movement becomes smoother and more economical. The Ultra Large geometry maintains full contact around wider calves and thighs, so each chamber delivers even pressure without gaps or pinch points. This secure fit makes the circulatory stimulus consistent from session to session. The approach supports sustained mobility and a reliable base for training and daily recovery.

How to use

Put on the boots

The boots have no left or right. Position each one so the control unit sits on the outside of your leg. Open the zipper fully from foot to hip, step in and zip it completely closed before you switch on. Since the boots have built-in red light, wear them on bare legs without clothing for maximum effect.
